Introduction

Disco's Product Career Framework lays out the expectations and responsibilities for each role within the product team, along with corresponding compensation levels. The framework is intended to:

provide a clear pathway for employees to grow and advance within the company;
set clear, reasonable expectations for the performance of all team members at different levels;
improve pay equity and transparency within the company;
help minimise bias when promoting or hiring new team members;
provide clear expectations to candidates during the recruitment process and reduce friction caused by salary negotiation.

Employees review the framework on a regular basis with their lead as a tool to help map our career progression and identify skills to focus on.
